In a world that feels like a constant roar of "noise" full of endless options, conflicting truths, and the pressure to have it all together - it is so easy to feel like you are the only one struggling. It's easy to feel like your story is too messy for God or too complicated to be accepted by a community. I'm here to tell you that isn't true.
Why Pear Tree Passions?
I started this ministry because I know what it's like to need a lifeline. I know what it's like to be saved by the radical, life-altering goodness of God when everything else has fallen apart. Pear Tree Passions isn't just a website; it's a digital sanctuary. It's a place born from the belief that our stories - our testimonies - are one of the most powerful tools we have to defeat silence and find salvation.

This is a space for the "everyday person" in the Body of Christ and for those who aren't even sure what they believe yet. My goal is to help you find the Truth in a world of static. Here is what we are building together:
* My Journey: I'll be sharing my own blog here - the raw, unfiltered story of how God found me in the wreckage and changed my life.
* Your Stories: A dedicated space for testimonies from people just like you, proving that God is moving right now, in real-time.
* Practical Truth: We aren't just reading Scripture; we're learning how to apply it. From biblical life skills to finding a healthy life balance, we're looking at how to live for Jesus in a practical, everyday way.
* A Seat at the Table: This is interactive. I want you to comment, ask the hard questions, and share your own experiences!
You Are Not Alone
Whether you are a lifelong Christian looking for deeper roots or someone who is just curious about who Jesus is, you belong here. We are here to grow together, to build character, and to find our purpose by leaning into the Holy Spirit's lead.
Whatever you are going through right now, remember, someone else has suffered through it, someone is standing with you now, and there is always hope through the Cross. The noise is loud, but the Truth is louder.

About Me: The Heart Behind the Passion
From Chains to Calling
My journey with God didn't start in a classroom or a pew; it started in the midst of trauma, travel, and eventually, a jail cell. I was born in New Mexico and have lived all over the world-from the UK to various corners of the US-but my real "homecoming" happened when I finally surrendered to the voice that had been whispering to my heart since I was a child. I first gave my life to Jesus when I was a teenager, but still a young girl in so many ways, trying to heal from traumatic abuse. But while I knew God existed, I didn't yet know how to let Him lead. By twenty-six, I found myself in a jail cell in Idaho with exactly ten dollars to my name, no one in the world knowing where I was, and facing significant time. It was there, in that isolation, that God found me again.
The Road to Texas
On Christmas Day in 2008, I heard God's voice clearly: Go to Texas. He promised me that if I went, He would change my life, bless me, and make me a blessing to others. I arrived in Texas as a broken person seeking a new way of life. Through a year-long discipleship program, overdoses, and even a season in prison, I began to truly understand the breadth and depth of His love. I stopped just "knowing about" God and started learning how to unleash the power of Heaven through the blood of Jesus.
Why Pear Tree Passions?
For years, I asked, "Lord, what do you want me to do with all this? How can my screwed-up life possibly bring You glory?" The answer was Revelation 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony..." I created Pear Tree Passions because I am living proof that your past does not disqualify you – in fact, it actually prepares you to reach the person who is currently where you used to be. I am here to share the practical, biblical life skills I've learned on the hard road, in the hopes that somehow maybe my story can help you find the truth, break your own chains, and live the peaceful, balanced, Spirit-led life God intended for you!
